Waters trembled

It was tender, it was slow
There was no need to rush
And in a moment we would know
In a moment loud with hush
Deep in the soul, waters trembled

It could have been the glance
Or perhaps it was more
Than what appeared as happenstance
There standing at the door
While deep in the soul, waters trembled
