the week's been long, we've worked hard
trying to get things done, but we didn't get far
now Sunday's here and we're about to begin
this craziness once again

so, on your way home grab a dvd
come sit on the couch with Orville and me
give the dog his own chair, in case we don't watch tv

all those meetings took you all over town
hair's all tousled from the top bein down
drop those shoes and stretch here for a spell

You can fall asleep in the middle of the show
