scraped knee bruised elbows, a need for tender care
don't schedule surgery, just put a band-aid there
chipped tooth, root canal, don't need to feel the pain
trust the process, ask the tech for a shot of Novocaine

the ache is caused by something you can't seem to unlock
and if you feel it's that drastic, ask for the spinal block
it's only pain, nerves crying out their story,
only pain, all the issues are that thorny
there's no stopping the way you've been feeling
until you make the choice for the final healing
