the truth

-
stories get told
and then they're over
songs get sung, but they come to an end
legends grow as they get older
till no one can "remember when"

but the truth,
the truth will remain
waiting patiently to be
discovered once again
just like socks
it's the right size for all
no it's not that complicated

and you have an idea
we test them with a scientific method
even if we disprove everything
it won't stop our believing
