You've got me drivin up and down
Looking for a parking spot
Checkin out the view of that side of town
from the back of that vacant lot
You've got me thinking about how a moon roof leaks
When the summer rains start to pour
You've got me trying to see if I can come back for more.

I'm a far cry from thinking
About what needs to be done
And I just might start drinking
some Dr. Pepper just for fun.
Don't know what I'm doing
with these thoughts you put in my head.
I know it was nothin you'd done,
but it sure was something you said.

Last week I saw you in the diner
Sittin there on the stool
And you certainly couldn't look finer
and I couldn't be more of a fool.
To think that when you said "see ya later"
you were being subtle and sly.
You were probably just being a lady,
and I know I'm just being a guy....when I say
