stop acting like a fool

Everybody's talkin
Everybody's gawkin
Everybody's wonderin when
When she'll stop acting like a fool
And get rid of him

They think that she's able
To put it on the table
And tell it to him face to face
and she'll stop acting like a fool
and let go of him

There's nothing quite as sad
As a girl who's got it so bad
That she can't see what's going on
You know she needs a shiny knight
Who can make it all alright
And fix all the things that are wrong
Hey, if she'd only listen
She wouldn't be a kissin
him on the couch every night
She'd stop acting like a fool
and let go of him

Do you think that I should tell her
That there's this real nice feller
That's just waiting to treat her right
As soon as she stops acting like a fool
and let's go of him?
There's nothing quite as sad
As a girl who's got it so bad
That she can't see what's going on
You know she needs a shiny knight
Who can make it all alright
And fix all the things that are wrong
If she'll stop acting like a fool
and let go of him
If I can just play it cool
she'll let go of him
Yeah she'll stop acting like a fool
and let go of him!

many relationships are of this manner we all see different as outsiders to others love. If time was turned back and many of us looked at our past relationships how many might of turned out different if we had listen?
